Rush Creek Sanctuary
:
Rush Creek Sanctuary is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization serving Wise County and the surrounding areas providing rescue, shelter and rehabilitation for abandoned animals in Wise and surrounding Counties. Our Sanctuary is on the outskirts of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area and is often a haven for abandoned dogs and cats which strains public resources. Wildlife rescues are also often necessary, increasing the challenge.
Our Mission, simply stated is:
“To expand existing animal rescue and public service efforts at Rush Creek Ranch to develop a unique animal rescue, rehoming and rehabilitation program that offers educational and recreational opportunities that capture the synergies of integrating animal rescue efforts with therapeutic and social programs for children, adults and those with special needs.”
We are reaching out to introduce our organization, its services and programs being offered and to solicit your support.
Animal rescue in this region is of utmost importance! Many animals face abandonment, abuse and neglect, leaving them vulnerable. This is true for those animals we typically have for pets, as well as large domestic and wild life animals. These animals deserve compassion and respect. They also need our help.
Rush Creek Sanctuary was formed to raise awareness of and respond to this need. Integrating educational training and recreational programs for those of all ages; such as, veterans and those with special needs through our animal rescue program enables us to capture the synergies of our combined humanitarian efforts

Our 501(c) 3 does not just save animals, but, helps those with special needs, Veterans, seniors, adults and children, as well as, the terminally ill, through Animal Therapy.
We are seeking support in all areas, including materials, in kind, sponsorship and urging you to join us, by supporting our efforts and contributing to our cause.
