How will the funds benefit those we serve?
- Fencing
- Additional shelters for rescued animals
- Updating camp site with indoor plumbing, including handicap restrooms and showers for disabled and special needs guests bathrooms and showers
- Electrical improvements to better serve the animals and therapy groups
- Sastry and wildlife fencing
- Upgrading the gravel road to the camp site so it accessible
- Feed and medial for rescue animals
Rush Creek Sanctuary Summary
We will continue to:
- Rescue , rehabilitate, and rehome a wide variety of animals
- Let disabled veterans, special needs children and adults, and others who could benefit from animal therapy visit the property for no charge
- Sponsor local area Scout Troops – offering an alternative to the technology-driven lifestyle so readily available to them today, and
- Develop unique ways to integrate animal rescue efforts with the development and rehabilitation of children and adults with special needs
- Grow fresh foods for guests and animals
